I am passionate about Shaolin Kung Fu, with more than 28 years of experience in the practice and teaching of this ancient martial art. My journey in Shaolin began in 1996 when, at just four years old, I started my training under the guidance of Laoshi Janet Villarreal until 2005.
In 2009, I took on the responsibility of leading the YMCA San Martín branch (Venezuela) under the direction of Elvis Vicuña, who became a key figure in my martial development. Then, in 2012, I reached a significant milestone by earning the rank of Black Belt at just 19 years old. Two years later, in 2014, I continued my training with Laoshi Adolfo Moreno, refining my skills and deepening my understanding of Shaolin philosophy.
In 2019, I moved to Chile for work-related reasons, but my passion for Kung Fu led me to share my knowledge in parks and plazas throughout Santiago. Finally, in 2023, the Pandas de la Unidad branch was officially born—a space dedicated to the teaching of authentic Shaolin Kung Fu.
I love Shaolin Kung Fu because it allows me to experience it from two fundamental perspectives:
-
Trainer: Witnessing people’s progress as training takes effect, and as students begin to discover and understand Kung Fu. The body’s physical conditioning is merely the means through which one can elevate their art and improve their discipline.
-
Student: Understanding that mindfulness is the key to improving one’s art and that it is a daily process—if not practiced, it is lost. Beyond physical conditioning, it is also a form of praise that enables one to connect with God and develop the spirit to help those around them.
